Biography
GODFREY-Jean A. Hutchison, 68, of Godfrey, died at 2:08 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born in Princeton, Ind., March 13, 1940, she was the daughter of Edward and Beulah (Arnold) Pond, both deceased.
She was adopted by John and Ruby (Arnold) Hutchison, both deceased.
She taught English for the Southwestern School District until her retirement in 1993.
Surviving is long time companion Marcy Jacobs of Godfrey.
A public memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on March 10, 2009 at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton.
Memorials may be made to Southwestern High School or Hayner libraries.
